Question about a trail in Schneealpe

I plan to hike to Windberg (Schneealpe) through Karlgraben and descent through Bodenalm to Tirol in Krampen. Can anybody tell me about the unmarked trail from a place called Ausgang directly to Tirol? In what state it is? Does it exist at all?


You can answer my questions in German, I understand German but unfortunately am not good in the spelling.

It´s a rough trail, that has been assured with some old iron spikes long time ago, but nearly all of them are gone. If youre able to face slighty cragged terrain (max. 1+) you wont have problems.

Thanks a lot Gamsi! I have no problem with light climbing, I was concerned whether the trail was not overgrown from disuse, or it did not exist at all. I wish I went there today, wonderful weather!

Thanks Pauli. Your hikingbook is extremely impressive. I will certainly find inspiration in it! I was to Waxenegg this last Monday, (also with GPS) but you did also the Donnerwand, as I said impressive!
